Welcome to the Tacoma Cooperative Network, dba TCN Cooperative Network ("TCN,", “TCN Coop,” "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our websites, making a donation, registering for an event (such as FutureMakers), or applying for our workforce programs (such as the CyberAI Institute or Connect Across Tacoma), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. Description of Services
TCN is a registered 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Cooperative. Our website provides information about our mission, workforce development programs, community infrastructure projects, volunteer opportunities, and philanthropic initiatives. We also process event registrations, newsletter subscriptions, and donations.
3. User Eligibility
General Use: You must be at least 13 years old to use this website. If you are under 18, you may only use this site with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Program Applications: Specific programs, such as the CyberAI Youth Fellowship, may have distinct age and residency requirements governed by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). These requirements will be outlined in the specific program application portals.

As a cooperative focused on digital equity and cybersecurity, we take the integrity of our network seriously. You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

5. Donations, Grants, and Philanthropy
Tax Deductibility: TCN is a 501(c)(3) organization (EIN: 84-2979734). Donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. We recommend consulting a qualified tax advisor regarding your specific contributions, especially concerning Donor Advised Funds (DAFs) or stock transfers.
Refund Policy: All donations—whether one-time, monthly, or advanced assets (stocks/bonds)—are strictly non-refundable once processed.
Event Tickets: Tickets purchased for TCN events, such as FutureMakers, are subject to the specific refund policies stated at the point of sale (e.g., GiveButter).
Fund Use: While we honor donor intent to the best of our ability, TCN’s Board of Directors retains ultimate control and discretion over the use of all donated funds to ensure alignment with our tax-exempt mission.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website—including text, graphics, logos, BBR Academy curriculum materials, CyberAI frameworks, images, and software—is the property of TCN or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission from TCN.
7. Third-Party Services and Links
Our website utilizes third-party tools to enhance functionality, including Double the Donation (for employer matching), GiveButter (for ticketing/auctions), and various stock-transfer facilitators. We may also link to partner organizations or local public libraries.
TCN is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or security practices of these external sites.
Your interactions with third-party platforms are governed solely by their respective terms of service.
